Scoreboard Requirements
Q: My scoreboard doesn’t work. How do I fix it?
If the scoreboard isn’t functioning, first make sure macros are enabled in PowerPoint. Open the file and click Enable Editing when prompted. Then, go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings, select “Enable all macros”, and click OK. Close and reopen the game to apply the changes.
If the scoreboard still doesn’t work, you may need to unblock the file. Close the PowerPoint file, locate it on your computer, and right-click it. Select Properties, then look for the Unblock checkbox at the bottom of the window.
Q: I can’t find the “Unblock” option in Properties to enable the macros. What should I do?
If you don’t see the “Unblock” option when right-clicking the file and selecting Properties, try closing the game completely and reopening it. If that doesn’t work, restart your computer and check again. Some systems do not require the unblock step, so if macros are enabled and the scoreboard works, you can proceed without it.
Q: Does the scoreboard work on all devices?
The scoreboard feature requires Microsoft PowerPoint and will only function on PCs with PowerPoint 2013 or newer and Macs with PowerPoint 365 or newer. It will not work in Google Slides, PowerPoint Online, or older versions of PowerPoint.
