Space Ball, also known as Trashketball, is a fantastic review game and a fun team-building exercise! This customizable game template works for any grade and subject, making it a fun way to get students excited about learning and reviewing class material.

How to Play Space Ball

Similar to the Trashketball rules, to play Space Ball, set up a trash can at the front of the classroom as the basket, and mark three scoring lines at different distances from it, assigning 1, 2, and 3 points to each line respectively, with points increasing the further the line is from the basket.

Divide your class into teams and give each group some blank paper sheets. Begin the slideshow to display the first review question and allow the teams time to discuss and write down their answers.

Teams show their answers when ready. If their answer is correct, they get the chance to crumple their answer sheet into a paper ball and take a shot from one of the scoring lines for points; they choose which line to shoot from based on the difficulty and points they aim to score.

A correct answer leads to a shooting opportunity, but an incorrect answer passes the round without the chance to score.
