Spanish Sub Plans, B1 Review, Spanish 3, Any Grade, Week Long Emergency Sub Plans for Spanish Class, No Prep, 65 Pages

$9.99

Spanish 3 students need real reading and writing, even with a sub in the room. These emergency sub plans give them exactly that: Spanish sub plans for level B1, five days of review with one set a day for every class, also handy as long term sub plans in middle school or high school. It is review only, nothing new: Spanish worksheets with word banks on the subjunctive for advice, the future and conditional, the city and the environment, legends, and technology, plus a daily calm vocabulary block, team tasks, optional Spanish review games and answer keys, in a no prep Spanish sub binder. Every instruction is in English, so the sub needs no Spanish. No tech needed. Print and go for a planned absence, a sub tub, a substitute teacher binder, or emergency lesson plans on a sick day.

Perfect For

  • A full week out: sick leave, a conference, jury duty, a family emergency
  • A sub who does not know your subject or your class
  • Spanish teachers with several classes at the same level: one set covers every class that day
  • A review week before a test or after a break, when nothing new should be taught
  • Your sub tub or emergency sub folder, ready before you need it
  • Long term subs who need a first week that runs itself

How It Works

  1. Print the binder and leave it on your desk. The week plan on page 4 is already filled in, with page numbers and minutes for every set.
  2. Monday’s set runs in every period you teach on Monday, Tuesday’s set on Tuesday, and so on. The calm vocabulary block fits any gap, the team task fills a block period, and the game is optional fun for the last 15 minutes.
  3. Every set stands alone, so the plan is only a sample order: swap sets between days, or use one with another class when it fits. Each set opens with a line that says what it reviews, so you can match it to what your class has covered.
  4. Instructions are in English and every answer is in the key, so the sub needs no Spanish.
  5. Prefer your own order? A blank weekly schedule is included.

What’s Inside: 65 Pages

  • A sub binder front section: a note to the substitute, the week plan already filled in Monday to Friday with page numbers, a blank weekly schedule, class list and dismissal, a “how it went” sheet, and a Monday opener (Meet Your Sub)
  • B1 review set 1, Advice and Wellbeing: reviews present subjunctive after advice, wishes and value judgments, deberías and podrías, sleep, stress and healthy habits
  • B1 review set 2, Work and the Future: reviews future tense with irregular stems, cuando + present subjunctive, the conditional for polite requests, jobs and applications
  • B1 review set 3, Environment and the City: reviews the passive with se and impersonal se, para que + subjunctive, negative commands for rules, recycling, transportation and city life
  • B1 review set 4, Stories and Legends: reviews preterite, imperfect and pluperfect in one narrative, narrative connectors, legends and storytelling
  • B1 review set 5, Technology and Opinions: reviews creo que versus no creo que + subjunctive, relative words, double object pronouns, technology and social media
  • Spanish team tasks, one per day (about 40 minutes, groups of four): The Sleep Report; The Career Day Fund; The Recycled Tower; The Front Page; Phones Off All Day?
  • Optional Spanish games for the last 15 minutes, a fun way to end the class or something for extra time, with level B1 Spanish questions asked in English and the Spanish answers in the key: Whiteboard Quiz Game; Paper Password; Class Feud; Classroom Millionaire; Mystery Box
  • A calm vocabulary block for each day, for early finishers or a loud moment: students learn 8 new Spanish words at level B1, turn the page over and test themselves quietly (match, word grid, story gaps, unscramble, mystery word), then check with the answer strip: Learn and Test: Wellbeing Words; Learn and Test: Work Words; Learn and Test: Environment Words; Learn and Test: Story Words; Learn and Test: Technology Words
  • Answer keys for every set, vocabulary test, team task and game

The filled-in plan is a sample order: every set stands alone, so you can move any set to any day, or use one with another class when it fits. No tech needed: nothing needs a login, a projector, student devices or supplies beyond pencil and paper. Every set, vocabulary test, team task and game has its answer key in the back.
