Spanish A2 Sub Plans Review Game, Quiz Game for Spanish 2, Google Slides and PowerPoint

$4.99

Vamos or fuimos? Le or les? Your teams decide, and one click shows the answer. This Spanish 2 review game covers the main A2 grammar in Google Slides or PowerPoint, with a Daily Double, a Final Question and print cards.

Perfect For

  • Spanish 2 classes, grades 6 to 12, level A2
  • Unit test review, Spanish 2 final exam review, a sub day, and a fun end to a unit or a Friday
  • Pair work, stations and small groups with the printable question cards, no projector needed

How the Game Works

  1. A team picks a category and a dollar value on the board, then answers the question
  2. Click the answer button to check. Correct wins the value, wrong lets another team steal
  3. One cell hides the Daily Double: the team wagers first, then doubles it if correct
  4. After the board, every team wagers on the Final Question. Highest total wins

Why Teachers Love This Game

  • Answers show the key words in green, and on the fix it questions the wrong word is crossed out
  • No prep and no logins. Works in Google Slides or PowerPoint, or fully on paper with the cards
  • Every question is editable, so you can swap in your own sentences

What This Game Reviews

The preterite (regular verbs, pagué, fuimos, dijo, durmió), the imperfect for habits and descriptions and the imperfect next to the preterite (estaba … cuando empezó), the present perfect with ya, todavía no and alguna vez, an irregular participle, acabar de and estar plus a gerund, tú, usted and ustedes commands (including pon and levántate), the long possessive mía (Esa mochila es mía), le or les, doler and parecer, lo or la, comparisons with más, tan, tanto and mejor, a superlative, and por or para in the Final. It reviews the main A2 grammar of a Spanish 2 course, not every topic. The questions review lessons from my Spanish A2 sub plans, and the game works just as well on its own for any Spanish 2 class.

Made for Spanish 2 Students

The instructions are in English and the sentences are in Spanish, all of it inside level A2. The $100 questions are warm-ups and the $500 questions are the challenges. A missing accent mark still counts as correct when the word is right, and that is printed on the teacher key with the other answers to accept.

Play It Without a Projector

Print the question cards double-sided and cut them apart. Lay them question-down on the table so students see only the category and the dollar value, just like the board. A student picks a card, a partner reads the question and checks the answer printed on the card. The same cards work for pair drills, stations and a sub day.

Daily Double and Final Question

The Daily Double hides behind one cell on the board. The team that picks it wagers any amount up to their total before seeing the question, and doubles that wager if they answer correctly. When the board is cleared, every team writes down a Final Question wager, the question is shown, and teams add or lose their wager. Highest total wins.

Works On

Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks. Project the slides. No student devices or logins required.

Important

Play in Slideshow (Present) mode so every cell, button, and link works. The sound buttons (thumbs up, thumbs down, and music) work in the PowerPoint version, which is included here. Google Slides does not play sounds, so those buttons are simply decorative in the Slides version.
