PreK Long Term Sub Plans, 4 Weeks, 20 Days of No Prep Sub Plans for Preschool and Pre-K, No Reading, 448 Pages

$34.99

Gone for a month? All twenty Pre-K days are already planned for your sub. These PreK long term sub plans cover 4 weeks of preschool and Pre-K in four complete binders, one theme a day, and every student page is pictures, so nobody has to read or write. Every activity starts with a "Say this to start" box and a short numbered script, so the sub simply reads aloud while the children point, count, circle, color, trace and move. Each day has nine activities of 10 to 20 minutes: Circle Time, Literacy with a letter of the day, Math, Fine Motor and Art, Science, Social and Emotional, Quiet Time, Group Movement and an optional game, a fun way to end the day. No prep and no tech for you: print and go, as emergency sub plans, for a long term sub, or for your own week or month without a sub.

Perfect For

  • A month out: surgery or medical leave, a family leave, a long illness
  • A long-term sub who has never taught Pre-K: every activity is a short script to read aloud
  • Emergency sub plans for a sudden absence, ready in your sub tub before you need them
  • Teachers without a sub: your own week or month off planning, with no prep and no tech
  • Preschool and Pre-K classes where the children cannot read or write yet

How It Works

  1. Print the four binders and leave them out. Week 1 covers days 1 to 5, Week 2 days 6 to 10, Week 3 days 11 to 15 and Week 4 days 16 to 20. Each binder has its own week plan on page 4, already filled in with every activity, its page and its minutes.
  2. Each day has one theme and nine short activities of 10 to 20 minutes. Snack, outdoor play and rest follow your own posted routine.
  3. The sub reads the "Say this to start" box, then follows the short numbered script. On each picture page a read-aloud strip tells the sub what to say, so the children never read or write.
  4. Six activities a day have a picture page for each child (Literacy, Math, Fine Motor and Art, Science, Social and Emotional, Quiet Time); Circle Time, Group Movement and the game are for the whole class.
  5. Every activity stands alone, so swap days, skip one or spread them out. Each one has an optional "More time?" idea if your day has room, and every answer is in the key with pictures.

What the Sub Gets

  • A note to the substitute in each binder: how the day works, how the pages are used, and what to do if the class gets wiggly
  • A "Say this to start" box on every activity (180 in all): two or three sentences the sub reads aloud to begin
  • A short numbered script with minutes for every activity, and a read-aloud strip on every picture page
  • Each week plan already filled in with page numbers and minutes, a blank weekly schedule, an activity index, a class list and pick-up page, and a "how it went" page
  • Answer keys with pictures for every activity that has an answer
