Original price was: $4.99.Current price is: $3.99.

I put a hinge joint, Title IX and the E in RICE into one game show. This high school PE and health review game runs in Google Slides or PowerPoint for 9th 10th 11th 12th grade, with a Daily Double and print cards.

Perfect For

  • 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade PE and health classes, from a health course to a mixed PE group
  • Unit review, test prep, the end of a semester, a day when the gym is taken, or a Friday class
  • Sub days: the sub runs the slides, or students play in pairs with the printed cards

How the Game Works

  1. A team picks a category and a dollar value on the board, then answers the question
  2. Click the answer button to check. Correct wins the value, wrong lets another team steal
  3. One cell hides the Daily Double: the team wagers first, then doubles it if correct
  4. After the board, every team wagers on the Final Question. Highest total wins

Why Teachers Love This Game

  • Answers show the key words in green, and the teacher key lists other answers to accept
  • No prep, no logins and no equipment needed. Works in Google Slides or PowerPoint, or fully on paper with the cards
  • Every question is editable, so you can swap in your own questions

What This Game Reviews

The heart, muscles that work in pairs, joint types, antibodies and bone marrow; FITT, dynamic stretching, sets and reps, the activity guideline and skill-related fitness; MyPlate, serving size and %DV on a food label, water for gym class and vitamin D; soccer and volleyball positions, the handshake line, tournament brackets and Title IX; the teen body clock, the stress response, refusal skills, assertive communication and where to get help; checking the scene, RICE, sneezing into your elbow, the AED and what CPR is; and a Final Question that traces the route of blood through the heart. The questions review lessons from my high school PE and health sub plans, and the game works just as well on its own for any 9th to 12th grade PE or health class.

Made for Grades 9 to 12

The questions are short and climb from familiar terms at $100 to harder ones at $500: the heart, FITT and MyPlate at the start, bone marrow, skill-related fitness and Title IX at the top. Playing needs no gym and no equipment: teams answer out loud or write their answer down. Every question is editable, so you can swap any of them for the terms your class uses.

Play It Without a Projector

Print the question cards double-sided and cut them apart. Lay them question-down on the table so students see only the category and the dollar value, just like the board. A student picks a card, a partner reads the question and checks the answer printed on the card. The same cards work for pairs, stations and small groups, and for a sub day.

Daily Double and Final Question

The Daily Double hides behind one cell on the board. The team that picks it wagers any amount up to their total before seeing the question, and doubles that wager if they answer correctly. When the board is cleared, every team writes down a Final Question wager, the question is shown, and teams add or lose their wager. Highest total wins.

Works On

Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks. Project the slides. No student devices or logins required.

Important

Play in Slideshow (Present) mode so every cell, button, and link works. The sound buttons (thumbs up, thumbs down, and music) work in the PowerPoint version, which is included here. Google Slides does not play sounds, so those buttons are simply decorative in the Slides version.
