Original price was: $4.99.Current price is: $3.99.

Parabolas, piecewise functions and a bell curve, played in teams for points. This high school math review game runs in Google Slides or PowerPoint for 9th 10th 11th 12th grade math in any course, with a Daily Double and print cards.

Perfect For

  • 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade math classes: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 or a mixed group
  • Spiral review, test prep, the end of a unit, a review before a break, or a Friday class
  • Sub days: the sub runs the slides, or students play in pairs with the printed cards

How the Game Works

  1. A team picks a category and a dollar value on the board, then answers the question
  2. Click the answer button to check. Correct wins the value, wrong lets another team steal
  3. One cell hides the Daily Double: the team wagers first, then doubles it if correct
  4. After the board, every team wagers on the Final Question. Highest total wins

Why Teachers Love This Game

  • Answers show the key answer in green, and the teacher key lists other forms to accept
  • No prep, no logins and no calculator needed. Works in Google Slides or PowerPoint, or fully on paper with the cards
  • Every question is editable, so you can swap in your own questions

What This Game Reviews

Function notation, transformations, lines from two points, a linear model and a piecewise function; literal equations, inequalities, systems by elimination, absolute value and a system of inequalities; multiplying binomials, factoring, solving by factoring, the axis of symmetry and the discriminant; exponent rules, geometric sequences, rational exponents, simplifying radicals and compound interest; midpoint, cylinder volume, similar triangles, right triangle trig and arc length; residuals, relative frequency, correlation, compound probability and the normal curve; and a vertical angles Final Question. The questions review lessons from all six weeks of my high school math sub plans, and the game works just as well on its own for any 9th to 12th grade math class.

Made for Grades 9 to 12, Any Course

The questions are short and climb from 9th grade skills at $100 to 11th and 12th grade skills at $500: evaluating a function and multiplying binomials at the start, the discriminant, compound interest and the normal curve at the top. The numbers are chosen so no question needs a calculator. Most questions are skills that Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 classes share. A few of the $400 and $500 questions reach into Geometry and Algebra 2 topics (right triangle trig, arc length, the normal curve), and every question is editable, so you can swap any of them for your own.

Play It Without a Projector

Print the question cards double-sided and cut them apart. Lay them question-down on the table so students see only the category and the dollar value, just like the board. A student picks a card, a partner reads the question and checks the answer printed on the card. The same cards work for pairs, stations and small groups, and for a sub day.

Daily Double and Final Question

The Daily Double hides behind one cell on the board. The team that picks it wagers any amount up to their total before seeing the question, and doubles that wager if they answer correctly. When the board is cleared, every team writes down a Final Question wager, the question is shown, and teams add or lose their wager. Highest total wins.

Works On

Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks. Project the slides. No student devices or logins required.

Important

Play in Slideshow (Present) mode so every cell, button, and link works. The sound buttons (thumbs up, thumbs down, and music) work in the PowerPoint version, which is included here. Google Slides does not play sounds, so those buttons are simply decorative in the Slides version.
