Introducing the festive twist on learning with our “Christmas Vocabulary Quiz“! It’s the perfect verbal practice that brings holiday cheer into any grade or subject in the classroom. With this special edition, students can prepare for vocabulary tests while immersing themselves in the spirit of Christmas.
How to Play
You can play it in small groups or with the whole class (students vs teacher).
If you want to play in groups, start by dividing the class into two teams. One team goes first and sends a student to the front of the class with their back to the screen. The teacher shows the first word, and the team has to give hints without saying the word while the student guesses within 30 seconds. Then, it is the other team’s turn. The team with the most correct guesses wins.
When playing with the whole class, one student tries to guess the word based on hints from the class. If the student guesses right, the class wins. If the student guesses wrong, the teacher wins.
You can use “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” to show if the answers are right or wrong, and click “Next” for the next question. Have fun!
