How to Play Cash Bus

Divide and Equip

  • Split your students into small groups of 2–4.
  • Each group uses one laptop or tablet to play.

Question Time

  • A question pops up on the screen.
  • Groups discuss and decide their answer at their own pace.

Mark Your Answer

  • Click “Show Answer” to reveal the correct response.
  • If the team is correct, press “Correct” to earn money!
  • If the answer is wrong, hit “Wrong” and earn a strike.
  • Three strikes and the team is out.

Bonus Question Opportunity

  • Answer 15 questions without three strikes to unlock a bonus question.
  • Bonus questions can double their earnings! But watch out—if they’re wrong, they lose all their money, and their game ends.

Red Light Challenge

  • Randomly during the game, a “Red Light Challenge” appears!
  • Groups get 60 seconds to answer a multi-part question for extra cash.
  • No penalty if they miss it—just keep playing and having fun!
