How It Plays
Pick a secret five-letter word. Students have six guesses to find it. After each guess, letters are marked with a simple key: a square means right letter in the right spot, a circle means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot, and a line means it is not in the word. Everything works in pencil alone, so the black and white version plays exactly like the color one.
Important
This is a ready-to-print PDF pack. Laminate the guess sheets and use dry-erase markers to reuse them all year.
