German Sub Plans Level A1, Week Long Emergency Sub Plans for German Class, No Prep, 5 Days, 64 Pages

$9.99

Out for a week? Every German class is planned, Monday to Friday. These German sub plans for German 1 give your substitute five days of level A1 German review, one set per day for every class, ready as emergency sub plans, long term sub plans or a no prep German sub binder. It is review only, nothing new: German sub work and German worksheets with word banks on greetings and family, daily routine, food and shopping, town and the Perfekt, plus team tasks, optional German review games, early finisher puzzles and answer keys, all run in English by a substitute teacher who does not speak German. No tech needed. Print and go for a planned absence, a sub tub, a substitute teacher binder, or emergency lesson plans on a sick day.

Perfect For

  • A full week out: sick leave, a conference, jury duty, a family emergency
  • A sub who does not know your subject or your class
  • German teachers with several classes at the same level: one set covers every class that day
  • A review week before a test or after a break, when nothing new should be taught
  • Your sub tub or emergency sub folder, ready before you need it
  • Long term subs who need a first week that runs itself

How It Works

  1. Print the binder and leave it on your desk. The week plan on page 4 is already filled in, with page numbers and minutes for every set.
  2. Monday’s set runs in every period you teach on Monday, Tuesday’s set on Tuesday, and so on. The calm puzzle fits any gap, the team task fills a block period, and the game is optional fun for the last 15 minutes.
  3. Every set stands alone, so the plan is only a sample order: swap sets between days, or use one with another class when it fits. Each set opens with a line that says what it reviews, so you can match it to what your class has covered.
  4. Instructions are in English and every answer is in the key, so the sub needs no German.
  5. Prefer your own order? A blank weekly schedule is included.

Helpful Details

Written for German level A1 (first year German, CEFR A1), in any grade from middle school to high school. The filled-in plan is a sample order: every set stands alone, so you can move any set to any day, or use one with another class when it fits.
