Helpful Details

Written for grades 2-5. For grades 2 and 3, make it talk-only: read the scenarios aloud or project the slides, and let pairs answer out loud (the writing lines are optional). The scenarios are everyday, mild school conflicts on purpose, so students can practice the skills without real drama. The Size of the Problem sort teaches the one big exception: when someone could get hurt, get an adult right away.

Works On

Any printer for the cards and sheets. The slides run in PowerPoint and Google Slides on Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks.
