Memory Board Game, Printable Matching Pairs Kit, 8 Picture Boards, Preschool to Grade 2

$4.99

Turn two cards. Is it a pair? This printable memory match game for the classroom includes 8 picture boards with no words on the cards, so it works from preschool up and in any language. Print, cut, and play. No prep, no screen, no slides.

Perfect For

  • Preschool and kindergarten centers, and a quiet game for grades 1 and 2
  • Early finishers, rainy day recess, sub days, and calm-down corners
  • Telling time, letter cases, counting, and shapes, without a worksheet

How the Game Works

  1. Print one board on card stock and cut the cards apart. Each row is one pair
  2. Shuffle and lay every card face down in rows
  3. Take turns turning over two cards. A match? Keep the pair and go again

Why Teachers Love This Kit

  • Big cards, 6 to a sheet, easy for small hands to flip
  • 4 picture boards plus 4 matching boards: clock and digital time, small letter and capital, coins and number, shape and object
  • Every board has its own frame color, so a mixed-up pile sorts itself in seconds
  • A low-ink card back sheet, and an ink-saver black and white version of everything

Description

What’s Included

  • A kit of 8 boards: Animals, Food, School Supplies, Nature, Telling Time, Letters, Counting Coins, and Shapes
  • 110 pairs in all: 12 per board, and the whole alphabet on the Letters board
  • Big cards, 6 to a sheet, pairs side by side, with a different frame color for every board
  • An optional low-ink card back sheet and a teacher rules page
  • Color and ink-saver black and white, in US Letter and A4. 39 pages each

The 8 Boards

Four picture boards where the two cards match exactly: Animals, Food, School Supplies, and Nature. Four matching boards where the two cards look different but belong together: a clock and its digital time, a lower case letter and its capital, a pile of coins and its number, and an outline shape and an everyday thing that is that shape.

Make It Easier or Harder

Youngest players: use 6 pairs instead of the whole board. Quiet time: one child, one board, as few turns as they can. The coins are play coins with a star on them, not real money, so the counting board works in any country.

Please Note

This is a print and cut resource. There are no slides and no editable file, so what you see in the preview is exactly what you print.

Works On

Any printer. Print on card stock or laminate once and it lasts all year. No student devices or logins required.
